Guess what! We got a mini proof of our book back from the printer! A real life book- albeit a tiny version - but an actual concrete, you can hold it in your hands, pinch me because I'm dreaming, celebratory copy of RAD Girl Revolution!
Exhale.
We've approved the proof, and copies of RAD Girl Revolution are being produced as we type this update. Yay! And also... drumroll please.... here is a peek at our cover!
So here is what's next. If you haven't already done so, please check your email and complete the survey sent through Backerkit. Confirm your mailing address and if you've ordered a Future Madam President T-shirt, please provide us with the size(s). November 6th (Election Day) will be the last day to pre-order our "Presidential Package" on Indiegogo, or to add a "Future Madam President" T-Shirt to your order through BackerKit!
Once you complete your survey, you will be able to download and print the RAD Girl Coloring Book PDF!
We are so thrilled with the artistry of Jane Marsilio with SillyODesign and know your children will LOVE her interpretation of our photos for the coloring pages. Greetings from RAD Girl base camp, where we are finalizing loose ends and preparing to get our "baby" to the printer! And just like human babies, the growth is bittersweet. We are THRILLED to announce we have completed our 30th (and final!) photoshoot for the book, but yet, it's bitter because our RAD Girl models have been brilliant inspirations that we never want to stop photographing. They are seriously THAT rad. Our final photoshoots have had us solving crimes, building skyscrapers, balancing on high wires, floating in air, directing movies, and, wouldn't you know, signing book covers! It's. Been. Cool. So, after the highs of photography fun, what's next? It's prep time!
We will be collecting shipping and order details via BackerKit. You will be receiving an email with a BackerKit survey in the next couple days. That survey will allow you to provide us with (or confirm) your address, add or change your Indiegogo Perks, and, if you've ordered a t-shirt, you will able to provide us with your sizing request(s).
It felt so "real" the day we launched our Kickstarter. And then "really real" the day we reached our funding goal. But now it's extra super mega REALLY real as we are laying out pages, finalizing our cover, writing dedications, and taking our own jacket photos. What is this life? Surreal stuff. And we are so grateful to all of you for supporting this mission from the beginning. We are as excited as ever. Reach any dream, people. Reach ANY dream.

Reading with our own children is one of the most rewarding and enjoyable parts of our parenting experience. Over the years, our children have cycled through "books of the moment'- the books they request we read over and over a zillion times. The books so well loved the pages have thinned and the covers have faded. These are the books with illustrations permanently imprinted in the minds of our littles, as well as the books that have incited boundless imaginary play and inspiration. We have such hope your children will find this love in the pages of "Rad Girl Revolution". Each time we wrap a photoshoot, we wonder which pages will spark the best conversations with your children. Imagining children throughout the world thoughtfully studying the images of our rad girls gives us chills every stinking time. Speaking of those images, we are VERY excited to report that we've wrapped a few more photoshoots! We spent some time on Wall Street to bring you one of the fiercest bankers you could ever hope to meet! We also ventured to the bright lights on Broadway to capture images of a rad girl we are certain will be bringing home a Tony Award someday! And, thanks to the gracious support of Northwestern Mutual, we also climbed into the sky to photograph some brilliant business execs in the midst of a very serious board meeting. We know it's been a while since we've shared any new images, so we wanted to give you an exclusive peek of a couple of our recent photoshoots! World, meet our Woman of Wall Street and our Fierce Fighters! We hope they inspire you as much as they inspire us!
We have also been working on creating our Indiegogo Perks, including new coloring pages illustrated by the talented Jane Marsilio!
In the coming weeks, we will be wrapping up the final 4 photoshoots for Rad Girl Revolution, designing our book cover, and putting the final edits on the book! Dear Backers,
It's been a whirlwind of a summer so far with 9 photoshoots under our belt and 9 more to go! We have been keeping busy scouting and securing photo locations, scheduling models, finding costumes and props, editing photos and video content, and writing and re-writing rhymes!
This month, Rad Girl Revolution took a little trip to the middle of America! We completed two Rad Girl photoshoots in Jen's home state of Kansas! We are honored to have received clearance to shoot at McConnell Air Force Base. It's a photoshoot location near and dear to Jen's heart as she spent many hours of her youth there. A huge thank you to all who made our Rad Girl dream a reality!
We also had the opportunity to photograph a scene at the Dehaven Farm in Wellington, Kansas. It's a picture perfect, peaceful, animal lover's dream! 
Earlier this summer, we photographed paleontologists, rock stars, a computer programmer, boxers, a doctor, and a professor! We want to thank Title Boxing Club of Forest Hills for letting us use their boxing ring and The NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine for granting us access to a lecture hall and clinic room!
We are exciting to be two-thirds of the way done with completing the book and we plan to keep up the momentum for the rest of the summer to get Rad Girl Revolution ready to go to print!

Hi there!
We wanted to take a minute to thank you for your support of our project. During our Kickstarter campaign, we took a break from photoshoots to focus on the logistics and momentum of crowdfunding, but we are excited to report we are back to the creative side of producing Rad Girl Revolution!
In the last two weeks, we've wrapped several RAD shoots with the most incredible and inspiring models from our neighborhood. We've got many more sessions on the books, and we are so eager to reveal the images! You're gonna LOVE them. True story! Promise.
(We want to give a HUGE shoutout to Chelsea Pediatric Dentistry for graciously hosting our dentist photoshoot! With two NYC locations- one in Chelsea and one in Long Island City, Chelsea Pediatric Dentistry is a pediatric dental experience your kids will love! Jen, our photo illustrator, has been taking her son there since he was a baby and he actually requests to go! Dr. Lauren and Dr. Natasha (go girls!) are fantastic, thorough, gentle, relatable, and are total kid whisperers! Support and enthusiasm from business like Chelsea Pediatric Dentistry are just one more facet of this empowerment journey that blows our minds. We are so grateful!)
